Hunter Morris is a renaissance kind of guy with a background in business, fly fishing and music.  We were lucky enough to spend the day with him recently talking about all three while floating and fishing the Toccoa River.

The weather changed dramatically on us in the Blue Ridge GA area turning frigid, even snowing the night before our trip.   Even with these conditions, we netted several beautiful fish, both browns and rainbows.   While the weather was cold, the day was sunny for the most part.  The river was gorgeous and reminded us a lot of some of our favorite western streams.

In addition to being an awesome guide, Hunter is a talented musician.  His band, Blue Blood, just released their latest album, “This is the Life”.  Hunter was gracious enough to let us use the title track from the album in an upcoming video highlighting our Northern Georgia adventures.  Stay tuned for it.  For now, enjoy this Toccoa Guide Talk with Hunter Morris.
