River Through Atlanta owner and lead guide Chris Scalley took us on an awesome all day float trip down the Chattahoochee River.    We had a blast and caught some beautiful rainbows and brownies.  This is an amazing fishery and having Chris guide us along the way made it extra special.  He’s a native and has been fishing the river for decades.

Chris shares his knowledge about the river, the seasons, what kind of fishing to expect, what kind of trout you’ll find and what flies are most productive.  Local knowledge of the river is critical to success.  Being a tailwater, safety is also important so having a guide like Chris is invaluable.  Knowing when the water is low and clear is vital to catching fish.  Fishing is great year round.
